About

I’m 24 years old, from Turkey, and currently live and work in Shanghai. I’ve been a true basketball addict since the age of 5, and have had the chance to play for basketball teams in Turkey, Belgium, Japan, France, England, US, and now I occasionaly lace them up and play against the legions of Chinese ballers around town.

When I heard about the NBA’s plans to expand into China, I was overwhelmed with excitement. I had spent the last 19 years of my life catching NBA content through choppy internet streams, basketball cards, play-by-play updates, scrambled channels that have no doubt ruined my eyesight, middle of the night games that I just could not miss, and now bittorent downloads. But the NBA is finally coming to me.

With this blog I’m eagerly following the NBA’s every footstep in China and reporting it as I see it. If you are curious to see what the future of the NBA holds, then hopefully you’ve come to the right place.
