China’s National Basketball Team beat Australia in their second friendly match of the week with an impressive 74-61 victory. NBA stars were largely missing with Australia’s Andrew Bogut, Patrick Mills and China’s Yao Ming and Yi Jianlian all not participating in the match.

The Chinese National Basketball Team continue their preparations for the 2009 Asia Basketball Championship, and have defeated Australia 84:78 in their first friendly match in Beilun, China.
The Chinese Basketball team was without their two star players Yao Ming and Yi Jianlian, but National team veteran and former NBA player Wang Zhizhi led all scorers with 20 points. Sun Yue came off the bench and also contributed with 4 points and 3 rebounds.
